The list includes 50 computing systems installed in\u00a0the territory of the CIS\u00a0and\u00a0showing\u00a0the highest performance on\u00a0the Linpack test by the time the list was the \u00a0rating of supercomputers in\u00a0World Ranking\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.hpcg-benchmark.org\/\">HPCG<\/a>. The goal of the HPCG project is to create a test that more adequately reflects the performance of modern high-performance computing systems. The computational schemes and\u00a0data access schemes used in\u00a0the LINPACK test no longer\u00a0reflect the real need\u00a0of many modern parallel applications in the\u00a0computer architecture.
